Don't just come see the show... I'd like for you to BE the show. My goal is to shine a light back on our vibrant and dynamic locals, who are truly the heart of Vancouver! Participants will be invited to attend the opening reception.

I'll be holding some open studio days over the next few months for interested participants to come by and have their photos taken.

The details!
It will be up to my discretion on how much time I'll be spending on each portrait, and, what size the finished piece will be. I may want to do a quick sketch or lengthy drawing, and it may be a stand-alone piece or part of a larger installation. I'm also working out which pieces will be for sale, so please understand that a drawing of your likeness may be for purchase. If you have any qualms with this, I urge you not to participate. I also reserve the right to not use a photo for any reason I see fit, including poor photo quality, subject matter not appropriate for a public audience, too many submissions, etc.
Types of photos may include but are not limited to:
The intents and purposes of the photos are as reference material for Stephanie Joy Mitchell, for the explicit use in the creating of artwork. These created artworks may post on social media, promote future events, appear on websites, be submissions for contests, and for other various uses in marketing materials. By emailing, delivering, or mailing the photos to Stephanie Joy, you are giving her permission to work from the provided photos, and agree to the statement below:
I give Stephanie Joy Mitchell permission to use my image as a reference in creating artwork, and in any subsequent advertising, trade, sale, promotion, display, exhibition, or any other purpose in which the artwork may be viewed or shown to the public. I understand that the artwork may be displayed, shared, given away, or sold without my permission. I also waive any right to inspect or approve the artwork image(s), or any art created from these images, including written copy that may be created and appear in connection with the image(s). I understand that Stephanie Joy Mitchell owns the copyright to the artwork image(s) and I waive any claims I may have based on any usage of the artwork image(s), including but not limited to claims for either invasion of privacy or libel. Sharing the created artworks for personal, non-monetary use are permitted with proper credit to Stephanie Joy being cited. I agree that this release is binding on me, my legal representatives, heirs, and assigns. I have read this release and am fully familiar with its terms and contents.

- Be a local Vancouver, WA area resident (surrounding areas included, especially if you spend a lot of time/energy in Vancouver).
- Find good quality, close up photos (candid or posed... ARTISTS, I'd love to see some action shots of you creating).
- Email photo(s) to [email protected]. Drop off or mailed photos are also great!
