Thanks to everyone for expressing interest in being a part of my solo show, coming this summer!
Don't just come see the show... I'd like for you to BE the show. My goal is to shine a light back on our vibrant and dynamic locals - focusing on inclusivity, at the intersection of community and art. Participants will also be invited to attend the opening reception.
Guidelines to participate:
Don't have a good pic, but still want to be included? No problem!
I'll be holding some open studio days over the next few months for interested participants to come by and have their photos taken. Please indicate in your email that you'd like to get your photo taken in studio and I will send the address.
The not-so-fine print...
It will be up to my discretion on how much time I'll be spending on each portrait, and, what size the finished piece will be. I may want to do a quick sketch or lengthy drawing, and it may be a stand-alone piece or part of a larger installation. I'm also working out which pieces will be for sale, so please understand that your image may be purchased. If you have any qualms with this, I urge you not to participate. Options to purchases your portrait can be discussed, but there is absolutely zero pressure for you to do so! I also reserve the right to not use portraits for any reason I see fit, including poor photo quality, subject matter not appropriate for a public audience, too many submissions, etc.
Thanks everyone! Can't wait to see y'all's faces on the gallery walls!
