Art at the Cave's 'Horsing Around'

2/8/2026

Such a beautiful show, featuring everything equine! Folks were definitely out for First Friday, and the Cave was buzzing with artists and art enthusiasts. I loved seeing the varied expressions of my first favorite subject to draw. Thank you Anne, Greg, Sharon, Terri, and everyone at the Cave, and a huge thank you to those who shared with me their love for my drawing. I am grateful to you all!

Art at the Cave's 'Small Wonders' Show

1/1/2026

This was such a fun show to be a part of. I ventured out of my comfort zone a bit, and was so happy I did... I've sold 2 of my 3 pieces so far! Loved seeing all the work, seeing familiar faces and friends (Clyde was all about Matt, per the usual), and scoring a fantastic linocut by Nerissa Eckerson.

Solo Show at The Gray Space

1/1/2026

What an honor it was to be the guest artist for the months of November and December at our downtown Vancouver Community Library branch's "The Gray Space" gallery. The library is so beautiful and the library staff are the nicest people you'll meet. Big shout out to Nerissa, Abby, and all of the Art Team staff. They also collected feedback from patrons... I'm not crying, you're crying!!

Clark County Open Studios Recap

1/1/2026

Rain AND shine, Clark County Open Studios 2025 came and went! 300+ new connections and friendships, hours of fantastic conversation and sharing, plans to meet again, happy memories... and a grateful heart on the verge of bursting.
My deepest appreciation and gratitude to everyone at ARTSTRA and Art at the Cave, my family, neighbors, coworkers, and friends who came to support me... my mom, son, and amazing partner, Matt, who've been helping me prepare for months... And last but not least, to each of you who chose my studio to visit, especially those who saw my drawings in the brochure and online and said, "I had to see your work in person." I can't tell you how much each of you have touched my heart. So very excited for the future.

"Read Me"

Come see (and perhaps buy??) my foray into collage with this Alice in Wonderland inspired piece. I have been thinking about collage for a while and was hesitant to jump in, not having any skill developed in that arena. I am happy how this turned out, and learned a lot of lessons along the way! I know if will find the right curious soul who is drawn to it!
One other cool note about the show... we were asked not to sign the front, so you really have no idea who created the piece that speaks to you. It could be a novice artist, or someone more established... what a great concept, along with a great price point. Everyone should have access to beautiful, moving (and sometimes weird) art!

WINNER! Vancouver Arts & Music Festival Juried Show

People's Choice Award!

I am beyond thrilled to announce that I was awarded the People's Choice Award at this year's festival juried art show! Somebody pinch me! Huge thank you to Sharon Svec and everyone involved in the coordination of this amazing space for artists, musicians, performers, and vendors to share their creativity. I feel so fortunate to live in a town with such a vibrant arts and music scene, that appreciates and showcases its creatives with high caliber events such as the festival. My deepest gratitude to everyone who voted for my drawing. I can't begin to tell y'all how much it means to me.

Splendorporium's "Season of the Witch" Show

7/28/2025

This is such a great space! And they have a dedicated children's gallery, so kids have the opportunity to share their creativity. How cool is that? Thanks to Tara for inviting me to be a part of this beautifully dark and witchy exhibit.

Art at the Cave's "Achromatic" Show

7/28/2025

If I could have dreamt up the perfect show to exhibit my work, this would have been it. It is so fantastically curated, so much beautiful work! It's running through the last weekend in August, so come check it out. There will also be an artist talk on the 16th, where you can hear the artists speak about their work, process, inspiration, etc. Thanks to Anne, Sharon, Greg, and everyone at Art at the Cave for allowing me to be a part of this stunning exhibit!
